A blooming rose, cut at the stem, adorns the front of this classic round locket, inspired by the Latin motto Recisa florescit: “Cut back, it flourishes.”
The phrase speaks to both the pruning we choose for ourselves, making space for new growth, and the losses that are taken from us through life’s seasons. Yet what is cut back is not necessarily diminished. Beneath the surface, roots remain, laying the foundations for what may bloom again.
A piece about change, resilience and the strength found in beginning again. Whether marking a chapter of personal growth or honouring connections that endure through life’s changes, the Recisa Locket can hold a small photograph, a lock of hair or another treasured keepsake.
