One Of A Kind: The Match & The Midnight Wanderer

Restored antique sterling silver perfume bottle with a floral wing moth and match bright cut engraved on either side | Emily Proudfoot

The Match & The Midnight Wanderer is more than a necklace. It is a silver scent vessel, a relic of ritual and nostalgia, made to carry your chosen perfume or essential oil close to the heart.

Handcrafted from restored sterling silver and engraved by hand in England, this one-of-a-kind piece features two symbolic motifs.

The front is engraved with a single struck match, a brief spark of light that speaks to memory, transformation and turning points. On the reverse, a floral moth unfurls its wings, symbolising intuition, renewal and the quiet pull of unseen paths.

Together, they tell a story: a flame lit in solitude, a soul in search, and the scent of a night that lingers.

Thoughtfully designed, the necklace has a screw-top lid and an internal silver scent stick to hold your fragrance or essential oil. It hangs from a substantial silver paperclip chain and rests with gentle weight at the chest; a keepsake of memory and meaning.

Each detail, from the finely engraved symbols to the use of scent as a personal marker, is made to invite reflection. Part of the Objet d’Art collection, it joins a series of heirlooms crafted with soul and intention.

A vessel of scent, memory and self.
Whether worn with fragrance, left empty, or used as a private reliquary, this pendant is a quiet expression of story and sentiment.
