One of my favourite and most detailed pieces to date, this restored antique orb is engraved with four butterflies and a single moth, each individually drawn and engraved onto the bottle as though gently landing to rest.
The butterfly is a timeless emblem of the soul and transformation, a traveller journeying from the earthly plane to the next. The moth, drawn toward light, represents the longing for growth and transcendence. Together, they reflect the psyche: many souls, one journey.
The orb shape evokes wholeness and continuity, a miniature world in your hand. Suspended from a delicate beaded trace chain, it can be worn as a pendant or kept as a miniature talisman. It may also function as a reliquary to hold a small amount of ashes of a loved one.
This piece sold during my pre-release, but I couldn’t resist sharing the intricate detailing and craftsmanship of this extraordinary object.
